This ice scraper has a design flaw. I have had a 5.5" round scraper for several years and have loved it! These are actually 7" across the big scraping end and work even better and quicker on snow! After our first snowy night scraping the outside car's windows with this larger size was faster and easier. I will never go back to the straight edged scrapers. The smaller scraper is now a backup for when one of our children find how well this works and help us 'lose' this one. We did get four with the order - three became instant gifts, so I am only reviewing the one I have left. - Update: Ice scraping on mornings when there is only ice (20 degrees) was very difficult. It seems the large round edge is NOT sharp enough to get under the ice. I went back to the old smaller one, then I realized that with a pocket knife I can sharpen that edge so it doesn't present a 'safe' rounded edge to the window. I sharpened it from the top (outside) so as to not upset the smooth inner surface. It took a few minutes, but it is sharp now and I am waiting for a good, cold, snowless morning to try this updated design.

Not so great. I gave it a chance, and it did what I expected it to do. Unfortunately it's not as great as shown in the advertisement (obviously) but it'll do for now.
