Survived a 5k. We bought these mostly for our bull terrier to wear during a 5k as she has terrible nails and terrible feet which she prefers to half-drag instead of lifting. We also had one of our borders wear a pair of these since he had a cut on one of his toes that was healing and I didn’t want to risk him re-injuring it. Overall they were great, though we did have to pause a couple times to straighten them/tighten the Velcro. They were less troublesome than the other brand we put on a third dog and our pack wore them from 7:45-11 without issue (during the race and for the costume contest beforehand).
Great shoes. My pup has sensitive feet and these work well for the hot pavement. Very satisfied.
My dog and I like 'em, would buy again. One day my dog wasn't able to walk confidently on our wood floors. We tried a few other solutions and landed on using these booties and laying down some thin yoga mats in key areas. The only qualm I have with these is that if you don't get them really tight, they can turn around on my dogs paws, such that the sole is facing upwards. Even when that happens, she's still able to walk just fine, though it is awkward for her so we fix it as soon as we notice it. But these are very rugged and easy to put on a big dog (80 lbs) so I would recommend. I don't know how to solve for the problem of making sure the lower velcro wrap is tight enough to keep the shoe from turning. We put these on her in the morning and take them off every night.
