Silicone Foldable Slow Feeding Pet Bowl

Great for a Puppy. I have a slow feeder bowl for my grown dogs that is made of hard plastic with deep channels to make the dog food hard to access. It works fine for them, but the channels are too deep for a puppy. A puppy’s tongue just isn’t long enough to effectively lift the food out of the channel, or even drag it through the channel. We have a new puppy who eats way too fast. While he hasn’t had a problem yet, we needed to slow him down before it became a permanent habit. So, when I saw this bowl with its silicone construction and softer and shallower obstructions, I thought this may fit the bill just right. Now that I have tried it, it turned out better than I expected. The softer silicone is better for the puppy’s fine teeth and the “bone” blocks are shallow enough that he can reach all of the kibble with his tongue. It has worked perfectly, he still works pretty fast, but the food is going down at a much more reasonable pace. Another great feature about this bowl is that it compacts almost flat. Then, you can open it up a step at a time and decide on how deep of a bowl that you want. You can size it to fit the dog. I like this bowl and recommend it highly.

I love that they fold up compactly so I can easily throw them in my bag for trips to the park or beach. Can only recommend!

Good for travel. This is thinner than I thought it would be based on the pictures. If your dog is an aggressive eater I don't know how this will hold up. But it does fold down nice and compact and the included carabiner hook is good for hanging storage. Cleans up well.
