Great retractable leash with a light for the price. This is a great retractable leash with a flashlight for those night walks, especially in the Fall/Winter months when it gets dark earlier.
OMG this is great!!! I cannot praise this retractable leash enough!!! It’s the answer to my frustration and makes walking the dogs a joy. I have two Boston terriers that like to go their own way. I had tried the double headed leash, but one would always want to go one way and the other a different way and they would be playing tug of war with the leash. Two leashes didn’t work because they would constantly get tangled. This leash does not get tangled at all unless they wrap you around in it, but that’s pretty easy to avoid. The leash tether is about a half inch wide which is plenty strong for my two girls (they weigh 15 pounds each). This may not be strong enough for large dogs especially if they pull a lot. The flashlight on it is cheap and came apart the same day I received it, but I was able to put it back together. Great product!
Works for small dogs would not use this for big dogs. Product works and for the most part has a good build quality for what it is and the price. I will continue to update my review as time goes on. The light is very bright and is battery operated with one AAA battery. The bag holder/light contraption slides in and out and feels very secure. The leashes could have been longer but suffice. They seem flimsy but to me they felt secure. One dog is 11 pounds and the other is 6 pounds. I didn’t expect the increased weight in my one hand so I definitely don’t recommend this for big dogs; and if your furry friends are bigger than ours I’d say be mindful of the extra weight in one hand. The leashes reflect as advertised. The buttons work independently to stop each leash. As tempting as it may be to extend the leash with another; I would advise against it. I think a longer leash with added weight would ruin the mechanism (physics….more force). So far I’m glad with my purchase I just have to get used to walking them in tandem.
