Simple design, works great, easy to clean. We've gone through several different brands and models of these types of water bowls over the years, and the worst part is always cleaning them. No matter how good the filter, they always need a good cleaning on occasion. This one is my favorite by far. The design is simple and attractive, I was able to assemble & have it working in less than 5 minutes, and it is very easy to clean - minimal parts & easy to disassemble and reassemble. Oh, and the cat loves it as well.
Worked great for my faucet loving cat. I have 2 other pet water fountains in my home, but one of my 2 cats still prefers the kitchen faucet. She has some health conditions that make it essential for her to drink as much water as possible, so I decided to try this fountain, since it mimics the sink faucet more than the others I have. As soon as I turned it on, she came running and she's loving it. It's small and plastic, so it's lightweight but probably easier to break than the metal one I have. It's very quiet and the other cat (who doesn't seem to care about running water) has no problem drinking from the bowl portion. As we all know, cats are highly individualistic so of course, some cats won't like it, but mine does, and it's a cheaper alternative and more similar to a regular faucet than some out there. It was easy to assemble and seems easy to clean. It's not huge which is a pro or a con depending on what you're looking for. I can't say anything about the durability since I just took it out of the box, but it seems easy to clean and like it will do the job for us.
Cat loves it. It's absolutely silent! Took my cat a few minutes to figure it out but he eventually did and drinks a lot from it. I just refill it with ice as the water level goes down. He previously would only drink from a running sink. This is wonderful. Have had it a week. I put one of those dish drying mats under the edge of the tray it sits in because he splashes. I haven't looked up replacement filters yet. So far, love it!
